BlackLight Summit is celebratory support and vigilant caretaking by and for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQIA+ artists. 

In its third year, BlackLight Summit takes a deeper dive – with keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and performances that ask tougher questions, hold space for rage, and challenge us all to meet this moment with new tools. 

His labor is love, sometimes tinged with collective grief, and he’s always coming in hot with community-centered practices – Tariq Darrell O’Meally conceives and guides BLS with vision and fortitude. I’m beyond lucky to work with him and Ronya-Lee Anderson on the Education and Mentorship components of this program.
