ABOUT THE 2025 BLACKLIGHT INTENSIVE

BlackLight, in collaboration with The Clarice, is pleased to offer our Fall Dance Intensive on Saturday, November 8th. Join us for a day of FREE dance workshops in technique, repertory composition, and a range of African Diasporic Forms featuring incredible QTBIPOC teaching artists and special guests from the DMV and beyond.

This annual gathering offers challenging movement, community connections, professional development, and dedicated time and space to process how we move between worlds and build them as we go. The Intensive also includes a pre-professional track for high school students. BlackLight centers and affirms our QTBIPOC community, with an invitation for all to participate. We look forward to dancing and connecting with you!
